I am very serious when I say this: if you live in the USA, don't eat raw chicken,
organic or otherwise. I have a fairly recent article reporting on research done
and nearly all chicken, including convention; organic, free range and "cleanly
raised" chickens are infected. Avoid raw chicken.

This is bad news for me, because until a few years ago, if I ate chicken, i
enjoyed eating it barely cooked or sometimes nearly raw. I don't really enjoy
cooked chicken very much at all. I've always been this way with beef and chicken -
eating it well done is nauseating to me, like eating a pencil eraser or
something. However the hazards and health risks of eating raw chicken are very
high now. Maybe (you'll have to ask them) if you can get food from Orkos, the
European distributor, however, they are supposed to have "clean" chickens that are
not infected.

I wish chicken were a safer food. You can investigate Shelton's poultry, which is
offered through health food stores, usually frozen, as they offer chicken that is
supposedly cleanly raised, and perhaps they can reassure you of their chickens.
Personally, I feel there are so many other food choices, I'll just avoid chicken
for a little while.
