I contacted Tom privately to get a trace or citation on this comment.  He didn't
have it handy and gently suggested I publicly ask the list for assistance.  His
thought was that whoever remembered the story would kindly pass it to me.

My interest is that I lost a loved one who suffered Parkinsonism (not Parkinson's
Disease) and need to pass the info back to her support group.  There is a thread
in that group that *every one* will develop some Parkinsonism if they live long
enough.   This  website on famous vegetarians says Shelton lived to 90, but
doesn't talk about cause of death.  If Tom is right, Shelton developed P.D. at
80.
