So-called sun tea can be prepared simply; I've been told the sun
itself can cause off-flavors, but haven't confirmed it. Most flavor
comes through in a good soak without sun or heat; warm to taste.
Cold-water coffee is said to be tolerated by many who thought
caffeine did them in, though it has caffeine. Some waxes and no
doubt other things aren't bled into the water, though, in amounts
like hot-water coffee. Boiled/perked coffee is said to be worst.
