Those were the prices at my local supermarket. I can also bicycle over to
Western Beef. Their prices are usually good.

This is regular meat and not organic. I buy Laura's (organic like
Coleman's) when I eat it raw. No one around here carries Coleman's

I was thinking of ordering from them. They say that 13 lbs of top round
would cost about
$86 delivered to me. That's $6.62/lb.! For jerky they suggest using a
lesser cut like chuck or pot roast,
assuming you have some way to slice it very thin. But such would only save
$0.65/lb. Much of this is packaging and shipping, so a larger quantity
would be less per pound.
