Thanks. Just read it. It sure does cloud things. There is some
compelling argument from both sides. One thing stood out for me.
Saturated fat is roundly condemmed by both sides. The studies cited
linking cancer with animal fat and red meat are of concern. Given
that there is now evidence that a virus could cause heart disease
lumped in with the other theories, it has become very confusing. How
much of this is influenced by people trying to sell books? Surely
getting at the truth cannot be this difficult? The conclusion from
the evidence must be that there is a huge variety of healthful
diets across the spectrum and that each must find his own. Maybe
eating for your blood type is correct? Sheesh. The head spins.
