I am allergic to milk and have converted most recipes with no problem.
However, I am having a terrible time trying to find Rich Whip, the only
milk free whipping cream substitue I have found. All of the stores that
normally carry it, simply do not have it any longer. I tried calling the
company and got a line of bull about asking the stores to carry it and she
wasn't able to tell me anything helpful at all. So what can I use in my
chocolate pie recipe in place of the Rich Whip, or do I simply use real
cream and not be able to eat it myself? In which case, I am staying home
as there are going to be enough things there that I can't eat.
Kathy, recently gluten free, in addition to milk free, and not happy about it!
