Who knows? The point was that pollution (including whatever weirdness the
ozone is doing these days--and folks who live in NZ, Oz, and southern Chile
and Argentina will tell it ain't no hoax) is also a factor in cancer and
the idea that if you eat a paleo-diet that you will never get cancer may be
a bit naive. Whales are eating their native foods, albeit polluted.
