According to the book "Sinus Survival", peanut butter has a carcinogenic
mold in it. I had chronic sinus infections and was going to an ears, nose,
and throat "specialist". He kept giving me antibiotics. After the third
dose and not getting any better, he wanted to do surgery. Before I went
that route, I decided to do a little research. Found "Sinus Survival" in my
local health food store. Turned out I had a Candida problem. (Had never
heard of it before the book.) The book tells you how to cure it. Strict
diet (Paleo, isn't that amazing). One of the no-no items was peanuts and
peanut butter. Can you imagine, mold? And carcinogenic at that? No wonder
you have a reaction. It's amazing how our bodies can tell us what to avoid.
Glad I avoided that "specialist" too. He was actually creating my problem
with the antibiotics.
