At what point can we say the chronic disease begins?

I started feeling worse, oh, when I was a very little kid, and twenty some
years later I haven't procreated, yet.  Who knows what chronic disease I might
now be suffering from had I not changed my ways?  Or what chonic disease I
have already started unbeknownst to me?
