Others have already suggested some possibilities. True psoriasis
seems to have a strong genetic component. My father has it, and
so did his mother. She, incidentally, was a vegetarian (except
for very infrequent fish consumption) for the last 50 years of
her life, so there was no question of it having been triggered by
beef in her case.
