One desirable outcome would be that all of us can migrate to a
vendor-neutral interface definition which delivers access and
usability.

One activity which will be working toward that goal is the
soon-to-be-organized User Interface work are in the Web
Accessibility Initiative at the W3C.

Anyone who would consider working on this issue starting from the
Web Accessibility perspective should be subscribed to the WAI
Interest Group mailing list so as to receive the call for
participation.

PS: It's a SmartList list -- commands go in the Subject.
e.g. <mailto:[log in to unmask]> gets instructions.
