I'm (fairly) new to this list, and this may be old hat, but I thought
that somebody out there may find this useful.
I usually shop at Tesco, but today went to a large Sainsbury's store in
South London. For the first time I saw gluten-free pasta on the shelves
of a major high-street store. They do 2 types of pasta (shells and
squiggly bits) as well as spaghetti. The make is "Orgran". It was
cheaper than what I can usually get in health-food shops.
Of course, this is probably irrelevent if you've already been diagnosed
and get all your stuff free(ish) on prescription. For me, it's a
godsend (I've been waiting 3 months now and the biopsy is coming
sometime in the next two months.. I'll soon have to reintroduce gluten,
but until then I but it privately).
