I'm not very good at swimming in them either. I once took an unexpected dunk
in the Willamette river, Oregon. Actually, I was deliberately pushed in by
sullen young woman I had befriended at the local suicide prevention center.
Between the workboots and the Carhartt coat I consider myself lucky to have
made it to shore. Fortunate also in leaving rocks at home that day. As a
result, I advise all teens to find their prospective dates at conventional
locations.
