Of course it is. As RAF-eater you are at the end of the food chain and
get all the bad stuff the animals are fed with in concentrated form.
So better avoid animals which were fed with grains, cooked potatoes,
antibiotics, etc.
Not easy, I admit. Maybe you can ask list members for the names and
addresses of those rare farms where really healthy animals grow up.
I'am from Europe and can't tell you where to buy in the U.S.
Concerning fish you could eat wild varieties. Still you are faced with
global sea pollution but unless you eat huge amounts of fish daily I
don't consider this to be a big problem.
