I didn't notice anything obvious from the salads, but I ate mostly in
sanitary, commercial restaurants. Also I ate lots of tacos with
shredded
lettuce, tomatoes and onions, and sugary desserts with many meals I
think. I
also drank lots of fresh orange juice from juice stands. It was
definitely
all the melted cheeses that disagreed with me, but as far as the other
stuff
like the breads and sodas and commercial meats, I can't say what the
effects
were, since back then I was eating a 'typical' western diet. I did
get some
sort of cold when I returned, but again back then I had no awareness
or
knowledge about alternative diet, or ideas about this concept of
toxicity
from diet, or that colds may be sometimes a sort of detoxification
process.
