Thanks for your message, Ingrid. As I replied to Lucia, I have to
decide
what to do for my week in Mexico City. It makes me consider the idea
of
eating raw foods from the farm-stands if they are appealing, despite
the
warnings. I did eat salad in restaurants there, in 1994.
Its only a week and I'm not 100% raw or instinctive so it may not be
so
challenging for me..but because my health is still a bit creaky I'm a
bit
concerned, and because a mostly cooked diet (cooked greens in
particular
which I avoid), and non-organic meats do make me feel lousy. But... I
probably could go a week on canned sardines (or other cooked
ocean-fish),
and some fruit for calories, and not feel too bad at all! I haven't
got into
drying meat...maybe that is something to think about, but I'm mostly
concerned about raw veggies. I will bring some grapefruit seed extract
with
me if I feel something bad happening, although its horrible taste is
about
as 'non-instinctive' as you can get! I don't want to deal with a
Mexican
hospital or MD!
