Hello Jean-Louis!!

In a message dated 97-11-21 14:27:38 EST, you write:

> vegetarians or frugivores.""

As a mathematician, I can't resist remarking that the assertions:
1- "almost cases of B-12 deficiency occur among meat-eaters"
2- "almost all frugivores are B-12 deficient"

do not contradict each other, given the small number of frugivores.>>

You are certainly right!! They don't contradict each other at all!!
I wanted to make clear that it was not I that made the statements above!!
This was a post on another list, which I forwarded to this list, because it
did not make sense to me. Ward mentions the study these statements were
based on.

I'm glad you are a mathematician! Tons of fun!!

~~ Liza
