ATTALIA E LE LINGUA LATIN
===========================================================
RE: Allan Kiviaho 970523
Io ha scripte:
-------------------------
ATTALIA E LE LINGUA LATIN
-------------------------

Assi:
Julia Kristeva. Language the Unknown. An Initiation into
Linguas. Columbia University Press. New york 1989:
p 117:
"Historians point out above all the contributions of
Crates of Mallos (168 B.C.) who, sent to Rome as the
ambassador of King Attalos, was a professor of grammar and
thus created the school of Roman grammarians among whom the
most famous were Varro (first century B.C.), Quintilian
(first century B.C.), Donatus (A.D. 350), and Priscian
(A.D. 500)."
-----------------------------------------------------------
"Julia Kristeva is a leading French intellectual,
practicing psychoanalyst, and Professor of Linguistics
at the Universite de Paris VII."

Allan
