In a message shockingly bereft of poetry, the Colossus of Rhodes writes:
<< I have file drawers from the 60's and 70's with beautiful enlarged
"contact" sheets and selected prints... most on RC paper. I know I'll always
have those images.
--Jim Rhodes
Bad news. RC paper may outlive you, but not by much. The plastic in RC
paper migrates and changes. The Museum of the City of New York, for
instance, does not accept donations of RC photos.
For "permanent" photographic records, we always pay the extra 50% and get
fiber based paper.
