Hi Janis,
Just to let you know I have juice fasted many times without complete
rest, and without weight reduction but the idea of completely fasting
has never been very appealing to me unless I am really very ill. I also
think Gerry's idea that digestion burdens the system is accurate. But
there is a degree for everything, so cooked foods, complex meals and
processed foods are probably going to require more energy to digest than
a simple meal from one or two raw foods. Digestion certainly is the
single most energy consuming task your body has. But if you don't feel
good juice fasting probably a complete fast won't make you feel more
well either. When I juice fast I immediately feel more well, and I
think your body responses should be your guide in this department.
I don't know if it is possible to have the type of healing for your
tooth nerve that you wish. If it is possible no one I know of has a
good success rate - your dentist probably is your best bet.
good luck,
regards,
roberta
