Very well expressed.

Is the subject of this thread an exploration of blue collar white collar
tensions? In my experience assumptions from either viewpoint tend to negate
themselves when there is a dialogue to bridge the gap. Speed of process may
not be the difference. Concern over quality may not be the difference. Anyone,
regardless of their position in life, if they care about their work they are
going to lose sleep. Is it a pissing contest? My question then, and one that I
really do care to find an answer for, is what is the difference?
