Its interesting that you mention that because I've noticed the same
thing even though I hadn't thought about it until reading your post here.

The Rejuvenated Foods stuff is sort of hard to get here. It is a bit
expensive and I would have to order at least half a case at a time. I
think the cost of shipping refrigerated goods cross country is part of the
problem. Here they cost almost $9 a jar. Maybe they are cheaper in
California.

There is a new kim chi out called Sunja's, made in Vermont. It is organic
and relatively low salt. Comes in mild and medium spicy (at least those
are the one's I've seen). Its pretty good and the local health food store
is carrying it. So I've been eating a lot of that recently.

BTW I found the statement about zinc I referred to in an earlier post. It
was in an interview with Sally Fallon in the Sept/Oct 1996 Spectrum
magazine. She pretty much made a statement about zinc deficiency causing
"mental cloudiness that they [vegans] confuse with religious euphoria".
Doesn't give any type of reference. I'll write a bit more about this
hopefully tomorrow when it isn't so late.

Michael
