Maybe it is a state to state thing.  The stuff that is marked down here is
definitely expired.  Plus it looks awful.  I have seen non-marked down
meat that had expired.

One time we wanted to buy some shrimp.  At Albertson's they had just one
package left, but someone had poked their finger into it, so there was a
bunch all dried out and yucky.  We pointed it out to the meat guy and
asked if had any more shrimp.  He said he would get some.  He was gone a
while.  He came back with a fresh package.  But you could see dried up
shrimps mixed in with the rest:  he just repackaged the yucky package.
