You also probably don't need to take iron pills unless you are diagnosed
with iron-deficient anemia.  Most people get more than enough iron from the
foods they eat.  Ray Peat's got a web page out there with a nice
explanation of iron but I can't remember the URL.  I tried doing a search
real quick but I didn't find it.
