I finally remembered the medication both my children (one
milk-allergic, one lactose-intolerant) couldn't take - Pediazole.
They could take the brand name version with no problem (if I
disguised the taste with something) but threw up the generic, even as
babies when I disguised it in molasses! Nothing is stronger flavored
than molasses, so I know it wasn't the flavor that gagged them.
Talked to the allergist about it, and he recommended brand-name; they
took it just fine. Neither one can take Augmentin (and I can't
either) because it causes severe pain in the gut.

psam
