Dear Muriel,
Do you have any information on 4 day rotation diets? I need one for a g/f
and c/f child.
Right now I have worked out a simple type of rotation diet. For example, on
Monday, we have tuna, all day. On Tuesday, we have ground buffalo. On
Wednesday, we have ground pork. On Thursday, we have soy for the protein.
On Friday, we have ground ostrich.
My son also eats some carbos such as rice cakes, brown rice, potatoes, and
so forth.
He loves ground meat, be it buffalo, ostrich, ground turkey, or whatever. He
does not care as much for fish.
He would love to eat an entire meal of meat, however, I usually add a
little celery or potatoes to his meal. I have read that autistic people and
many others cannot digest a huge amount of protein all at once. What does
the list think? This child would be very happy on an all meat diet. I have
not done it as I read and heard I should not.
In general, we are eating a diet of as many unrefined foods as possible.
And, of course, we are gluten free and dairy free.
I would love to take the leap into the Neanderthal diet, however, have
fairly recently gone completely g/f and c/f. We have seen near miraculous
results from g/f and c/f.
Also, we supplement with primrose oil and flax oil.
