I had many responses to the query on mini marshmallows.  All indicated they
are GF and no problem.

Summary of some of the comments:

Fireside brand marshmallows, by Doumark Inc.  list corn syrup, sugar, corn
starch, water, gelatin, and artifical flavor.  Made in U.S.A.  Have never
caused any reaction according to user.

Favorite Brands marshmallows are gf.  The modified food starch is corn.
Also, dextrose is sugar should be ok.  It is dextrin that we have to be
careful of.

According to the Celiac Handbook put out by the CSA/USA Inc Organization
dextrose is GF as is dextrin.
