The Center For Celiac Research at the University Of Maryland, Baltimore,
MD, has had a number of conversations with a representative of Kozy
Shack, Inc.

We are pleased to inform the Celiac community that on or about October
1, 1997, all their "better than homemade" desserts will be denoted as
"Gluten Free" directly on their packaging.

They are available in Club Stores, Supercenters and many of your local
supermarkets.

We applaud their decision and hope you will show them your appreciation,
by buying their products and letting them know what this means to you.

It is our hope that there will be many, many more companies that will be
concerned enough to follow suit and make life a little easier for
Celiacs in the United States.
