Hi, Dariusz and others interested in Instincto theory,
Does this sound like a contradiction? Theory and Instincts? ;>),
But what I wanted to say is: I just bought "Instinctive Nutrition" by
Severen L Schaeffer, and it is a well written, easy to read book which
covers most all the questions a novice (like myself) would think to ask.
I still have to dig into the archives to any great extent, and still plan to
- I think they are a great resource. And thank you to the contributors and
those that set the archives up, and all others concerned (did I leave anyone
out?).
Personally I think that instincts go further than just smelling and tasting
what is in front of us.
They include memory, perhaps going back thousands (and more) years.
And I believe that we need to take into account scientific knowledge
(without the proverbial grain of salt, but with perhaps a metaphorical
teaspoon of salt). ;>)
One of the values of this list is it gives the opportunity to exchange
personal experiences.
And thank you Dariusz (I got the sp. right for a change) for your eloquent
description of your first meal of raw fish. I sort of did the same.
I don't know if there is any updated literature on Instincto/Anopsology?
There is also a summary of Anopso on the web but I've lost the address.
regards,
Lynton
