> Well, I feel "weak" very, very often these days (I hope it's the
>etox); in fact, you could feel weak when you *overeat* as well. How do you
tell the difference and manage to avoid eating when you're completely full
an feeling weak because of the latter?

After changing my diet, I had two short periods of extreme fatigue. The
first resulted in me sleeping almost 14 hours two nights in a row and
the second about 11 hours, also for two nights. The first occurred
after 6 weeks and the second 5 weeks later. After each case, I noticed a
dramatic (maintained) increase in my energy levels
------------------
Since this is my first post, a bit of background. I changed my diet in
September last year after reading a chapter on energy in one of Tony
Robbins' book (I think it was the Giant Within one). Prior to this I
spent 42 years of bad eating habits and numerous fluctuations in weight
from 185-200lbs. My height is 5'11" and the only one time I ever
followed a weight reducing diet was when I increased to 210lbs. The
information was just what I needed as I was pretty slack in body, and
subsequently mind. Tony Robbins follows natural hygiene and recommends
Fit for Life. I implemented his suggestions overnight and since then
have followed a diet of varied fruits until supper time. Supper usually
consists of vegetable juice and salads (celery, lettuce, tomato,
cucumber, avacado, sprouts etc.) and steamed vegetables with either
bread or one of nuts or seeds.

I took the time to read both Fit for Life books and followed that up
with a book Awakening Our Self-Healing Body (by Arthur M. Baker). I also
read You Can Prevent Breast Cancer (by Harvey Diamond) and then Fitonics

(by Marylin Diamond).

I decided to try some supplementation and started using Greens in
January which did not make any noticeable difference except for
fantastic ease and regularity of bowel movements. My diet change had
already solved most of my bowel related problems.

This month I decided to add colloidal minerals - I don't know if I can
expect any visible signs but the literature showing why one should take
them is impressive.

I have also been mostly inactive for the last 10 years and started only
two weeks ago with a serious exercise program.

Apart from much more energy and a great digestion system, these are the
other notable things that have occurred:
1 A smelly feet problem that I had suffered with all my life disappeared
within days of changing my diet
2 A ganglion that had been in my thumb since age twenty disappeared in
May 3 From October until May, I had three skin rashes (the size of a dime)
that were irritating - I didn't bother about them assuming them to be
detox signs
4 From June I have had an irritating eye problem - it started in the
right for a week, them moved to the left then back to the right - the
left has remained clear since then - I had a doctor check it and the
tests show no infection etc. and it was put down to allergies - if I
rest the eye (e.g. sleep) it clears and only starts bugging me at about
10pm. I tried a completely raw diet two weeks ago for 4 days and it was
noticeably better by the end of the fourth day so again I assume this is
part of detox. Has anyone else had similar symptoms. Part of the cause
in my case is that I have yellow tainted eyes due to a minor liver
deficiency relating to bile formation - hopefully when the detox is
finished I will have clear white eyes :)
5 The amount of hours sleep I need has not changed
6 I was 187lbs when I made the change and lost 30 within 4 weeks and a
further 5 in the next 2. In February I started putting on a bit even
though my food content and quantity was not changed and now have settled
around 160lbs.
7 My wife, who has not made as dramatic a change as I did (she still
eats fish and meat occasionnally - I don't touch animal products) has
also benefitted, the most noticeable being the fact that she has relied
on laxatives since the birth of our child 21 years ago due to some
distention of her colon. Her change in diet has removed that dependency
completely.

With respect for health
Jackl
