I'm type B myself. Looking at blood is quasi mystical, even if
the scientific theory is valid. What I would look at is body type. There
are four basic body types. Most books list three, but I say that "female"
fat distribution (Wide hips that act as "Fat magnets", soft easilly
soft flesh) should be in a diferent catagory than "fat" (toso fat
distribution, rubbery flesh). Also we have athletic (Wide shouldered,
muscular flesh), and slim (very low body fat, sinewy flesh).
While having a fat body type is not averse in other animals
(bears, whales, etc), with obese humans we are not talking about an
"adaptation" that can be used like the way a human nose is adapted for
glasses. It's not a cold adaptation, as fat people will burn muscle
before fat to keep warm. It may be an aquatic trait. Human neotiny
probably doesn't help much either.
What we have in fat humans is a natural human trait gone
"psycho." Any animal will try to eat as much food as it can in order to
survive. They will also eat the right kind of food. Cats don't eat
apples, and mice don't eat steak.
With humans we have a situation on our hands. We can create
artifical fruit. Survival demands that we eat the sweatist fruit we
can. That would be chocolate ice cream. Survival also demands that we
eat foods high in fat. That would be chocolate ice cream again. In fat
people what we have is a trend towards fatness that has become unstopable
with the modern diet. Fat people don't really eat that much more, but
what they do eat is stored quite qell.
