Well, maybe you could find a copy of Protein Power and figure out your
percentage of body fat to figure out whether that's a healthy weight for
your bone structure and build.
I wouldn't worry about what your friends are saying, as long as you're
eating an adequate amount of protein and enough calories in a day.  People
started telling me I looked skinny at about 145 lbs -- I'm 5'7" -- and
that's about 5-15 lbs above my desired goal weight (129 to 140).  And
even though they think I look skinny, I have a healthy amount of pudge
still left on the thighs and hips, and would look a little chubby in a
bikini.  (I'm currently 139 lbs.)

Just make sure you're eating enough, and don't worry about it!  I
certainly wouldn't go off the diet in order to gain weight _back_!  Your
body knows what weight it wants to be, and if you're getting adequate
fuel, your body probably won't lose more weight than it wants to lose.
