Any ideas as to what I can substitute for frozen bananas in my
smoothie/fake pudding recipies. I usually use the following:
1 cup soya milk
a chunk of mashed up dates (according to taste)
2 frozen bananas
Put it all the blender and it comes out somewhere between the thickness
of a milkshake or a pudding depending on the ration of the ingredients
and your preference.
My main problem is that bananas here are seasonal and they only last for
about a month in the freezer anyway.
Does anyone have any ideas for something similar to the above that I can
make without the bananas? The closer to something decedant but low
calorie the better!
