Dr. James Braly (food allergy specialist) spoke at a conference. He
mentioned that L-glutamine was useful for healing a leaky gut. He
suggested a rounded teaspoon of L-glutamine dissolved in glass of
water twice a day for adults. You can get this amino acid loose in
a bottle (pharmaceutical grade) from The Vitamin Trader in Alburqueue.
It's not cheap (about $35 for a bottle 25% bigger than a Centrum
vitamin bottle). Like other amino acids, it's best taken on an empty
stomach.
