After about 3 months being GF, I finally
broke down and dined out. My teenage
daughters were visiting for the afternoon
and a restaurant is one of the few places
where it is OK to be seen with a parent.
Everything went well and there were no
problems with the food. This being the
case, I would like to start eating out
more often but don't see any reason to
reinvent the wheel.
Are any list members in Delaware or the
surrounding area familiar with restaurants
that are celiac friendly? While any dining
out tips will be appreciated, what I am
really interested in would be specifics:
name of restaurant, names of dishes on the
menu, names of staff that understand what's
involved. In other words, if you live in
this area and dine out, where do you go,
what do you order?
And...
since I don't speak Chinese, haven't been
able to explain this or have take-out for
3 months, the name of a Chinese restaurant
and anything safe on their menu will leave
me forever in your debt.
Thanks,
Chuck
