John, I gave up salt with iodine in it around 37 yrs. ago. I had a lady
living next door(she was in her late 80's) that recomended I do it to get
rid of the brown butterfly looking mask I had on my face. It started when
I was pregnant with my son. At first I just kind of laughed and said well
maybe I would try it. Then I figured why not give it a try. With in a few
weeks, after I got rid of the iodine in my salt, it went away. I don't buy
salt that has iodine in it, but I am sure that I get some iodine from food
that I buy that aready has salt in it. But that is very little since i've
been on this diet.

I've told quite a few women over the years that have had the same problem
about this and it always seems to work of for them too.

Erin
