First, I would get a second opinion. Perhaps you should try to find a
homeopathic physician-if you can find one. You might also look at your
meat/veggie/fruit/nuts etc. ratios. If it's just an increase in fiber
he's prescribing, you can get plenty of fiber from the right fruits and
vegetables. The sonogram is harmless, and he's probably using it to
validate his initial prognosis. The antibiotics...well, that's a
judgement call. Did he specifically point out that you had any
infection? Or are they possibly intestinal muscle relaxants or
anti-inflammatories?
