Karl, I have a great book on beginning weightlifting. I don't have
it here at my office but I will get you the title when I get home. It has
good illustrations on proper techniques and grips and how to tailor the type
of workout you need to the type of muscle you want. Let me give you some
good advice from someone who became addicted to the adrenaline rush you
receive from an exhausted muscle group...DON'T OVERTRAIN!!! And also never
work a sore muscle. I have basically had to give up my weightlifting regimen
to maintain my career as a musician because of an overtraining injury to my
left wrist.
Nature forms us for ourselves, not for others; to be, not to seem.
