Hi
Just wanted to share this with you. I went
to the dentist for my semi annual check up.
I didn't tell my dentist about my low carb eating
when I asked him if it would be okay to just
give up sugar (me thinking all carbs). He
thought I meant just candy. He said it is worse
for the teeth to eat peanutbutter than candy
cuz the former sticks to the teeth for a while.
So I reasked specifically saying carbs. He said
that while carbs do cause cavities I would
starve without them. Well, I said, I'd eat
meat and fat? No, he said, I would die of
clogged arteries. I had to get back to work and
he did too so I didn't get into it with him.
(that I was low carbing since January and have
neither starved to death-gained 10 lbs in fact-
well I was going to say, nor have clogged
arteries but I have no way of knowing, I'm
just assuming this is true).
later,
PATRICIA TAFT
ps I asked a while back about me not having my
period yet. well thanks everyone for your responses.
I will be responding to them real soon...I've just
been having a bad time with my email these days
(and my work load). but I will respond shortly.
