Muriel,

Are your kids on the Neanderthin diet?

I can barely get my oldest, who is almost 10, to eat any meat at all, other
than hamburgers, from McDuck's. I struggled last night to get him to eat
some turkey drumstick. I am tired of fighting with him!

Does anyone have any suggestions, about how to change a kid's diet, who is
old enough to question/wonder what you are doing with all of his favorite
foods, like mac and cheese, and so forth. Both of my two older kids eat a
typical American diet, however, with less sugar, and more whole foods. They
eat more fresh vegetables and fresh fruits than their cohorts. My problem is
how to Neanderthin them without a revolution.

Right now, they even get a stalk of celery for their breakfast, along with a
bowl of Raisin Bran. Their diets compared to their schoolmates, is good, but
their schoolmates' diet is unspeakably bad. The amount of sugar the other
kids get at school, is simply unbelievable. I did lunch duty at school, here
is a typical lunch: Jelly sandwich on white bread, fruit (sugar) drink, ho
hos. No vegetables, no fruits, nothing fresh. What are people doing to their
kids? Don't they even realize it? At least my kids' sandwich is on whole
wheat, they get water to drink, and their "dessert" is a piece of fruit!

My youngest child, who is diagnosed autistic, has the healthiest diet,
including lots of meat, fish, whole foods, and almost no processed foods. He
is the closest to Neanderthin in the family, his main exception would be
some rice. He is improving on this diet.

I would like to completely Neanderthin him, to see it if "cures" autism. One
of his main problems is a continual candida problem, caused by years of
antibiotics, which he got since he was allergic to dairy, and I did not know
it. In other words, IF he had been on Neanderthin from the start, he would
probably be normal today. The vaccines set up a reaction in which his immune
system was seriously impaired, making him very allergic to dairy and gluten,
these proteins went through his leaky gut and swelled his brain tissues. The
candida give off toxins, and he also has unfriendly bacteria. He is getting
acidophilus supplements, however, still has a Clostridia (bad bacteria)
problem.

He has heavy metal toxicity. He also has multiple food allergies and these
foods go through his leaky gut and cross the blood brain barrier and inflame
the brain, as well.

One friend of mine who has "recovered" her child from autism, said I should
not give my child Neanderthin as his liver is too damaged from all the
toxins, cannot at this point tolerate so much protein. She advocates a lot
of vegetables and rice.

So, to this point, he gets fresh meats and fish, rice noodles, rice bread,
and vegetables, a little bit of fresh fruit. I am wondering what would
happen if I removed the rice products? Can a weakened system tolerate
Neanderthin?
