I lost another couple pounds, have lost almost 20, don't you hate me!
However, I feel it is due to better eating, that is, less refined products
of all kinds, more salmon, less ice cream. There is no way I can say I am
practicing paleo, yet, but would love to give it a try. I have made progress
toward it.
I think it would radically change my kids' personalities, give them more
energy. I certainly would appreciate ideas of how people have transitioned
their kids into paleo off of standard corporate-profit junk food! My kids
have improved in that they are on less sugar, less dairy, fewer white flour
products, no more Wonder Bread for them. However, their taste buds are
spoiled and they WILL NOT eat salmon, etc. They will eat a ground beef patty
grilled on the barbie. We have a long way to go. I have already noticed a
better personality and more energy in my daughter after getting off sugar.
It is also a constant battle because other kids at school have jelly
sandwiches on Wonder Bread, Kool Aid to drink, and Ho Hos for their snack.
My kids think I am mean because I don't let them eat like "everybody else."
What do you on the List do with your kids?
Also, I got off diet coke, that made losing weight easy. I can't believe how
that poison makes a person hungry.
