        Thanks all!  My summary generated more response than the original post.

        I had 17 responses, mostly from other hot tub users.  For the most part,
all respondents were regular hot tub users, only two of which had could
recall any adverse effects and then had not made a connection until I
mentioned it.

        Most suspected either a reaction to the heat and or a separate malady.
Perhaps the best advise was to drain the tub and use it for a few days
without chemicals.  So simple, I'm embarrassed I didn't think of it myself.

        Been on vacation and haven't been in tub for a couple of weeks (took
showers though), so I haven't tried this yet.  I'll keep you all posted.

        Thanks for all the help and encouragement.  Don't know how I'd survive
without this list.
