Hi,
Barb in Ohio wondered if reduction in sleep requirement is due to
getting older or the gf diet. For several years I needed to sleep ALL
weekend, most weekends, and 8hrs (minimum) each night during the
week (and I did not feel well). When I was very ill I would sleep (as
if under general anaesthetic) for 12 - 16 hours per day, for months.
I'm on a gf diet for five months now and 8 hrs sleep every night are
sufficient (and I feel very well). I'm 36 years old so I think that
age is unlikely to be a factor in my case.
