While the question of pork is on the table, has anyone made pemmican with
pork?  I don't see why it wouldn't work, but most of the recipes call for
beef.  Also would beef mixed with lard (instead of tallow) taste ok?
Anybody try it?  It is more available with time constraints than
rendering your own beef fat.
