Hi Kim!

1. You're probably better off being in ketosis. You're definitely better
off restricting fruit to next to nothing until you've lost your weight.
The quickest way for me to gain 4 lbs is to eat one piece of fruit a day
for two days. Thankfully, those 4 lbs will fall right back off if I lay
off the fruit for the next 2 or 3 days.

2. The grease from the uncured bacon you just cooked.

3. I quit both. Some herbal teas aren't bad unsweetened, though.

4. Pemmican, more often than not. Maybe a hamburger patty or two
sometimes, or a few pork chops or pieces of chicken.

Later,
John Pavao

Hi! I've just joined in on the cave list and I am apologizing in
advance for probably asking some repeat questions. I just got my copy
(today) of Neanderthin - and read it -- what an amazing book.. I'm
definitely hooked and ready to go for it!! Just a few questions:
        1. Do you need to start (and stay) in ketosis to lose weight? How
much restriction of fruit is needed?
        2. What do you scramble eggs in? (I know - no butter, margarine)
        3. How is the transition from coffee to tea? I love my coffee (and
Sweet&Low).
        4. Those of you who have to pack lunch - what's in it?
Thanks in advance - Me ready to be Jane! aka - Kimberly
