Friends,
I have just purchased a container of Rice Dream, and it has a Parve
hecksher, but no D. I don't see how it could, unless it was an
error...which does happen. The Orthodox Union has a Kashrut Alert,
updated daily on the internet, as products are mislabelled. They post
it if they discover a mistake...it is rarely intentional!!

A product would be labelled Parve, even if it has no dairy ingredients,
if there is a possibility of any contamination...dairy run on the same
lines...in the same area. They are very strict on this...I would love
to know more about how Rice Dream has both a Parve AND and Dairy
symbol...should never happen!! These rabbis really know their
business. I think I'll call Rice Dream...will report back if I find out
anything good.
