Friends,
In case you're interested in this excellent Pilger archive which also
features TWO CHOMSKY INTERVIEWS, please look up:
        http://www.zip.com.au/~nlevine/pilger.htm
If you do not have easy access to Internet, I'll be happy to send you both
the interviews by email.
Incidently, US media's attempt to bury Chomsky as pointed out by Mona is
applicable to some extent to John Pilger in the UK (also Australia?).
Although, ITV, one of the major TV channels in Britain broadcast Pilger's
latest documentary on East Timor couple of months back (and an excellent
docu on South Africa in 1998, this time by BBC 2). Pilger's latest book is
called "Hidden Agenda" -- a must read for Chomsky fans -- and easily
accessable. Another media burial is given (not very successfully though) to
the film maker Ken Loach. Brits, who are usually quite patriotic (even
outside football grounds, I must admit) do not like to talk about Loach so
much. Unlike Chomsky or Pilger, there're very few books on (or by) Loach
though.
