I have found that since digest is just one message, when I am busy I can
scroll through even a very long version in just a few minutes.

Peter:

Judy :

And deprive us of your valuable contributions. :-( Your recent post "Cooked
foods and aging" from the Picower Research Institute about the effects of
advanced glycation end products was excellent!!! Seriously though,
unsubscribing might be the way for you to go.

Judy:

I think a moderated newsgroup or a newsgroup gatewayed to this list could
be a good idea and maybe if enough people like yourself express a need for
it, it will manifest.

Judy:

I would not worry too much about the volume. As you have probably noticed
it fluctuates quite a lot.

Peter:
>>and if the list continues to grow, lower the daily total limit for
messages. >>It is presently set at 50 which may be too high.

Judy:
>I can handle 20 a day.

I prefer about 10 a day myself but for the list to be viable and be able to
run itself and represent a broad spectrum of views as well, a great enough
pool of active members is needed which means that at times the list will be
pretty busy.

Thanks for the feedback!

Best, Peter
