This conversation is giving me a headache. To repeat, I was judged on
moral grounds according to someone elses definition of mercy. There is
nothing hypocritical about my eating animals. Others may not believe in
mercy killing, but those who do have every right to use the word mercy
in that context.

As a last thought, perhaps vegans are killing themselves by not eating
animal food, and if death comes as a result of degerative disease, it may
be anything but merciful.
