I just heard on the news that there are now two surveillance cameras in New
York's Washington Square Park. They are there to "combat drug sales," but they
could obviously be used for other types of government surveillance. I would
note that some political groups have used the park in the past to organize
protests. Awful stuff, in my humble opinion.
